FILLER TEXT

nicole is an ill-defined maker working with paper, graphite, photos, flesh, audio, her hands and lots of time.

primarily a farmer/farm-worker, this website is a (sometimes failed) attempt at html coding and to legitimize and connect the loose ends of what she considers to be her "practice". nicole draws her inspiration from trees, herbs, flowers and vegetables, music, her giagia and papou and her vast, interconnected network of friends.

nicole has a bachelor of arts in sustainable agriculture and food systems & environmental studies from trent university in peterborough, ontario. her undergraduate thesis explored and problematized the rise in popularity of technical sourdough baking in favour of intergenerational and improvised techniques and methods of working with ferments. this research was later turned into a two-part podcast.

when not working on the things you see here, you may find nicole cooking with others, walking around with headphones on or searching the side of the road for found treasures.
